THE GAME CHANGING RESULTS OF BODY ATTENTION AND BODY WORK
When we start our one-on-one work, we embark on a journey that will make a difference in your life. On this journey, we will deepen your relationship with your body and explore the patterns you repeat unconsciously, as a physical, mental, and emotional whole.
Why are you here?
Perhaps you have been dealing with a long-standing pain or a condition in your body that bothers you. In this process, we will work together to clearly define this condition, learn the exact method to end it, and help your body regain its natural ability to heal itself.
Although your journey will include massage, movement, and exercises, it will not be purely physical. The physical conditions you experience are not independent of other aspects of your life — your emotional and mental states. For example, you may find yourself involuntarily getting angry in certain situations, or avoiding expressing something simple when dissatisfied. These difficulties in expression may be a result of patterns ingrained by your past experiences, upbringing, education, and cultural influences. These patterns might cause you to withdraw when you need to defend your rights, simply because you do not know another way. Similarly, struggling with anxiety in the face of uncertainty, withdrawing shyly due to old resentments, avoiding social settings, hiding yourself, being unable to prioritize your own needs over others’, chronic fatigue, self-neglect, sadness, jealousy, competitiveness, procrastination, issues of trust and distrust, anxiety and deep fear — all of these emotional patterns may have turned into automatic reactions that limit your body and your life. The Grinberg Method, through a process conducted in sessions, provides you with the opportunity to learn how to recognize and bring an end to these patterns.
What will we do on this journey?
In this work, we will progress based on the goals we define together — the ones you need and that we clarify and establish with precision. Regardless of your goal, we will first strengthen your connection with your body. We will practice techniques to deepen your breathing, relax, remain calm and at ease with yourself, and become more aware of your real needs. For example, when faced with a difficult situation, you will learn how to breathe more freely, enabling you to handle fear or anxiety more calmly. Or, if your need is in the opposite direction, we will focus on boosting your energy, joy, and ability to express yourself freely.
Through repeated practice of letting go of unnecessary effort and tension in your body, you will learn how to naturally and effortlessly maintain a relaxed state. You will be able to use your energy more effectively and improve your sleep quality and digestion. You will also discover how to activate energy resources in your body that you were previously unaware of or wasting.
Once we bring your attention to its highest level in each moment, we will magnify, slow down, and break down your experiences into understandable parts through this bodywork. This process will not only provide you with physical relaxation but will also bring mental clarity and emotional balance. By allowing your emotions to exist healthily in your body, you will learn to free your perception of life. In doing so, you will gain the tools to achieve your goals while experiencing a more meaningful state of being.
What is your contribution to the success of this journey?
This process relies on our collaboration. Achieving successful and effective results depends directly on attending your sessions regularly, scheduling them in a way that allows you to participate with full attention, increasing your focus and willingness with each session, and improving the quality of your feedback and engagement.
Integrating what you learn into your daily life will help create lasting results. For example, you can apply the breathing techniques you learn in stressful workdays or practice noticing your automatic reactions — such as those triggered during a disagreement — in the way you will learn during your sessions. With these new methods, you will practice paying attention to parts of yourself you were unaware of, recognizing them, and letting them go. With these new exercises, you will progress more quickly and effectively in your sessions and will be able to implement the freer, new way of experiencing life whenever you need it — helping you reach your desired outcomes swiftly and decisively.
How long will this journey take?
Every journey is unique, so there is no precise way to predict its duration in advance. However, within the first eight sessions, you will begin to notice a significant change — a clear shift in your life and body in the direction you aim for. The length of your journey depends on how long the condition has been present, how deeply the patterns we will work on are embedded in your body, and how engaged you are in the process. If we do not see the desired change within a certain period, we will review our roadmap together.
